Community School Learn-to Sports Program

The Saskatoon Sports Council believes in offering programming in a "Learn To" format, which focuses on skill development to improve the participant's sport specific skills. The SSC Learn to Sport program is aimed at targeting youth ages 8 – 15 years of age that typically would not be able to access other sport league or program opportunities, due to cost as a barrier. Currently we offer the following sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Softball and Football. The overall vision of this program is  to provide exposure for Community School children to help develop the fundamental skills to compete in sport at the high school level. This program will help to develop a base of skills to give the young athlete a chance to foster a passion for sport into adolescence and beyond.

With all our programs we provide transportation, facilities, instruction and equipment at no cost to the participants.

We are constantly looking for new groups to partner with to offer learn to programming. If you would like to be partner with the Saskatoon Sports Council please contact Kendra Greyeyes at 975-0871 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
