Join us in Meadow Lake July 29th - August 4th for the 2012 Saskatchewan Summer Games. Try-out and sport information is available, click the 2012 SK Games Try-out Info tab under Programs and Services Menu.
Team Saskatoon Pep Rally is schecduled for Monday July 23rd starting at 7:00pm at the Saskatoon Royal Canadian Legion 606 Spadina Cres. West.
Again in 2012 the Saskatoon Sports Council will host the 2nd Annual Sports Expo & Showcase. This years event is scheduled to take place Saturday August 25th at the Sasktel Sports Center. Groups interested in being a part of this event should contact the Sport Council Office.
Based on the response from last year and the new partners wanting to come on board for 2012 I am anticipating that this event will much, much bigger. Reserve your spot today!!!

SUMMER 2012: PotashCorp Soccer Kids In the Park Program (5th summer running!)
When: July 3rd – Aug 23rd, 2012 Mon to Fri 11:00am - 5:30pm
Where: Travels to Various Playground & Youth Centre Sites Citywide
Cost: Free Drop-In for Ages 4 – 12 (Playgrounds) & Ages 12 – 18 (Youth Centres)

Fun Stix !!!
An Introduction to the sport of Field Hockey. Basic skills are taught through fun drills, and mini-games. Fun-Stix is targeted at athletes 4-10 years of age and will run from April - June. Kids will be divided by age and ability.
Cost $65.00 per participant
Youth League
This league give athletes an opportunity to learn field hockey in a semi- competitive atmosphere, this program is a lead into the PYG (Prairie Youth Games). Targeting athletes between the ages of 10 – 15 years of age
Athletes will have the opportunity to compete in the PYG Tournament. This program will run from early May until late June.
Cost $75.00 per participant.

The Saskatchewan Children’s Festival is set to run June 3rd – June 6th, 2012. All festivities take place at Kiwanis Memorial Park in downtown Saskatoon. Check out the variety of exciting theater, art, cultural, and recreation activities on site. Especially be sure to drop by “The Zone” presented by The Saskatoon Sports Council where local children and youth will be able to try and interact with a variety of local sport groups and clubs who will inject some high energy play into their day!!!
